Bits & Bytes Golf Classic

28th Annual Bits & Bytes Golf Classic

Celebrating 28 Years of Community, Support & Impact

The 28th Annual Bits & Bytes Golf Classic is a long-standing tradition of support for Immanuel Christian Schools. Since its beginning, this tournament has raised over $850,000, originally dedicated to advancing technology in our classrooms—equipping teachers and students to thrive in an ever-evolving digital world.

In recent years, as part of Lethbridge School Division, the tournament’s impact has broadened. Funds continue to support technology, while also enhancing a range of educational opportunities that enrich student learning at Immanuel Christian Schools.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and organizing committee. Your continued partnership helps create a learning environment where students can grow, flourish, and use their God-given gifts for joyful service in His kingdom.

This year's event is presented by Doane Grant Thornton and promises to be a great day.  For those who are joining us, a few details to be aware of:

  • Tournament is taking place at Land-O-Lakes Golf & Country Club in Coaldale.  It is a best ball tournament, with opening announcements and tee off at 9:00.  Registration opens at 8:15 and the driving range will be open and available to you.
  • In addition to several prizes available at different holes throughout the course, we are also awarding a prize for the best team gear - come dressed to impress!
  • Mulligans are available for purchase at registration for $20, which is for one putt and one drive, one per player.  You are also welcome to purchase mulligans in advance by e-transferring to business@immanuelcs.ca, noting that it is for mulligans and who they are for in the message box.
  • Remember to bring cash and take part in the different challenges available, including:
    • Putting Green Challenge - pay $10 and have three tries at the putting green challenge.  Every time you sink the ball at this challenge, you'll be entered into the draw for our grand prize of $500 cash.
    • Corn Hole Challenge - pay $20/team of 4, which gives each member of the team the opportunity to throw the beanbag, earn points and potentially shoot from further up the fairway.
  • Included in your golf registration is 18 holes of golf, a shared cart and a take-out lunch.  You will receive a certificate for your lunch to be redeemed while you're playing through or after you're finished.
  • Plan to stay and enjoy some dessert in the club house after the tournament where we will also announce the winning team.
